Profile 05 · Funders, agencies and public programs
Verify that what you funded can be run again.
A data deposit does not demonstrate reproducibility. Demonstrating it requires versioned, hashed artifacts that someone can run again.
What cannot be solved today
The data management plan is met on paper.
Files are deposited, but nobody checks that the analysis can be repeated from them.
Two funded projects are not comparable.
Each chose its own versions and criteria. The portfolio cannot be read as a whole.
Verification depends on trusting the final report.
Without checkable artifacts, an audit is a reading rather than a verification.
What we deliver
A rerun check on what was deposited
It is run again and what matched and what did not is documented. A negative result is delivered too.
A common method contract for the call
A shared format makes methods and deliverables reviewable. Scientific comparability is assessed per study design.
A report a non-technical panel can read
It separates observation, inference and interpretation, with the intended use declared.
Available Computed today on public microbiome data. In genomics, the public demonstration uses synthetic annotation; real sources are agreed by contract.

The check runs in your browser and confirms file integrity. It does not replace scientific review or a fresh run.
What held up
A diversity signal holds under the documented depth check.
What did not hold up
Of the two significant contrasts, neither survived the sensitivity test. We publish that too.
We publish both. A method that only shows its successes cannot be evaluated.

Questions your procurement team will ask
Is this a certification?
No. It is a technical rerun check with its outcome documented, including when it is negative.
Can you verify projects you did not process?
Yes, provided the artifacts and access permissions exist. If they are missing, that is the finding.
What do we get at the end?
A rerun record per project and a reading of the whole set in the same format.
How does a public body contract this?
Per analysis or per batch, with scope and acceptance defined in writing before we start.
What does your next study have to demonstrate?
We first agree on the question, the assay, the data rights and the deliverable. Then we decide whether working together makes sense.
